PAA, there's something called dutch chocolate. Also holland is in the netherlands.
Germany also makes chocolate... there's a reason Hershey's is in pennsylvania. If you want to know why we have chocolate easter bunnies in the US it's because of the dutch and german immigrants who brought the "new" tradition with them in the 1700's.

here we go again... Third time we lose in the finals...
Two good teams playing a bad match - although neither team markedly deserved to win, in the end one had to win. It was not our day. Robben had the best chance to win the game for us, but Spain also had a similar chance. In the end, Spain played the better game.
Still, proud we ended up second best in the world, although disappointing - quite an accomplishment.

Why didn't they deserve to win? They won all their qualifying games and all of them up to that point. I don't see how they didn't deserve to win. They have been playing excellent football.
Robben isn't going to sleep tonight. And if he does he will be haunted by those 2 runs that he should have scored on.

Neither team was particularly clean, but the Dutch were dirtier (that example was particularly bad and I was amazed it wasn't awarded with a red card).
The better team won I think, but the Netherlands were extremely close to getting the first goal on one occasion.

There was nothing malicious in that tackle. He wasn't purposely cleating him in the chest, though it was a very dangerous play. And yes, he should have been given a red card. I do not, nor will I, debate that point. I was actually shocked that he wasn't given one.
As for dirtier, I wouldn't call it that. I think that the Dutch definitely played a much more physical game and that the Spaniards were flopping around like fish out of water. (Yes, some Dutch players did the same, ehm Robben). It was a physical game, it just looked worse because of the flopping. (Notice how only 1 or 2 players were actually off the field for an extended period of time).

We can only assume that the ref wasn't in a position to see the incident clearly. In a match with 14 yellows and a red, he sure as hell wasn't being lenient there.
That final summed up the entire World Cup for me. Two teams who were more worried about losing than they were determined to win.
Spain did just enough to win it - just as they did all the way through the competition. Fourth 1-0 victory on the trot - yawn.

I cant believe it man another World cup ruined but this time also the fault of the ref, we deserved a corner atleast everyone could see that ball was touched 2 times by the wall and the goalkeeper. also Spain was offside when the ball was played to iniesta, the red card against heitinga was bullshit, and i dont know why de jong went full retard in a final.

It's a bad and a good thing the ref seemed to be blind.
Good thing because he could have given 2 red cards to de Jong and V bommel. Wtf were they they thinking, both are very nasty fouls. And robben should have scored....
Spain needs to get a hold of some guys who can score some more, because that seems to be the only thing lacking in their team.

Score some more? As it turns out, they only needed to score once...

Seriously, I was pulling for the Dutch but the Spaniards earned it. Sure, they flopped some, but they were clearly the better side.
Also, let's get some love for the Kiwis - New Zealand is the only team that didn't lose a match. Sure, they didn't play as many as some others, but whatever.

New Zealand was the surprise of the tournament. Was great to see them do well and quite unfortunate for them not to advance.

Judging from the final, I'd say martial arts.
